Mitchell Starc in IPL! Australian star to return after 9 years

Australian ace pacer Mitchell Starc is set to end his 9-year-long Indian Premier League hiatus next year. 

While talking on the Willow Talk cricket podcast, the 33-year-old who made his last appearance in IPL in 2015 said, 'I am definitely going back next year, amongst other things it is a great lead up to the next T20 World Cup'

Starc who has only played IPL in 2014 & 2015 will put his name in the 2024 auction. After missing a couple of seasons due to his injuries, Starc prioritised the hectic Australian multi-format schedule.

Overall he has made 27 appearances for RoyaL Challengers Bangalore and had picked 34 wickets.
