New Zealand announced a 15-member ODI World Cup squad on September 11 garnering a warm response from world cricket.
Apart from a regular list of the team, the Blackcaps released a video of the players' families announcing their ODI cap numbers and names.
The video begins with skipper Kane Williamson's family, his daughter revealing his cap no. 161.
It is followed by Trent Boult's sons and so forth.
From mothers, to children to even Jimmy Neesham's grandmother, the video is being praised by fans for its unique appeal.
The order of announcement, however, does not follow the order of the playing line-up.
Of the 15, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra and Will Young will represent the Kiwis for the first time in an ODI World Cup.
