England may have redefined the way Test cricket is played lately but New Zealand gave the Three Lions a taste of their own medicine on Tuesday.
The Kiwis pulled off one off the most thrilling wins in Wellington as they beat England by just 1 run in the 2nd Test. Interestingly, it was just the fourth follow-on victory in Test history.
England had declared their 1st innings at 435/8 and the Kiwis were bowled out for a mere 209 in reply.
However the hosts turned the game on its head in the 2nd innings. Following on, New Zealand scored 483 and set England a target of 258.
However, Ben Stokes' men failed to do that as James Anderson was the last man to fall with just 2 runs needed for victory.
