England's Stuart Broad and James Anderson have etched their names in history books as they surpassed the legendary duo of Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath to take the most number of Test wickets as teammates.
The England pair broke a longstanding record of 1001 wickets held by Warne & McGrath.
Stuart Broad castling Devon Conway in the second innings of the first Test was the 1002nd wicket for the duo.
NZ are currently 63/5 in the final innings and still need 331 more runs to win.
Broad and Anderson are in an elite group of just seven players who have amassed more than 500 wickets individually at the Test level as well.
