A lot had in the past been written and said about an alleged rift between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma but the two Indian batting greats have often put those rumours to rest.
Ahead of India vs Pakistan clash at T20 World Cup 2022, Virat was once again asked about his rapport with the Hitman and the former India captain said that their discussions are always on how to win big tournaments and then the planning and preparations are directed towards that. "Ever since I have come back to the team, the atmosphere has been very good," added Virat.
"Whenever there’s this healthy camaraderie within the group, then you look forward to doing anything you can for the team. So, our understanding and vision for the game has always been similar. We always work towards covering all the loopholes no matter how small they are," he further added.
Rohit Sharma has played a number of matches under Virat but this World Cup will be the first ICC tournament which Kohli will play under the leadership of the Hitman.
