Former Indian cricketer Parthiv Patel has compared Ruturaj Gaikwad to Virat Kohli and other senior players saying that Gaikwad plays low-risk cricketing shots like his senior international stars.
Chennai Super Kings' Ruturaj scored 368 runs in IPL this year while Royal Challengers Bangalore's Kohli scored 341 runs having played two extra games than Gaikwad.
Parthiv told Cricbuzz that Ruturaj got the ability to play cricketing shots with low risks like KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

Parthiv further added that during the IPL, many were saying that Ruturaj is out of form but a player who got a proper technique won't struggle for form much longer. "A good player needs just one knock to return to form," said the former wicketkeeper-batsman.
Ruturaj Gaikwad currently playing in the ongoing T20I series against South Africa while Kohli is in England ahead of India's rescheduled 5th Test against the 3 Lions.
