Out of favour Indian batter Mayank Agarwal put his home side Karnakata in an advantageous position with a double century in the second semifinal against Saurashtra in Bengaluru.
On the back of Mayank's 249 runs, Karnataka managed to cross the 400-run mark in the first innings.
Mayank's innings was vital for the home side. who were struggling at 79/4 on the opening day of the match.
Having opened the innings, Mayank almost batted right through. He was the final wicket to fall as Karnataka made 407.
