Amidst failing to make it to the Team India squad, Mumbai star batter Prithvi Shaw gave a major headache to the Chetan Sharma-led selection committee ahead of the Australia Test series with a magnificent triple century in the Ranji Trophy.
On Day 1 of Mumbai's Ranji game against Assam, Shaw slammed a double ton and registered his career-best first-class score. On Wednesday morning, it didn't take him long to reach his triple hundred as he crossed the 300-run mark off 326 deliveries. He eventually finished with 379 runs off 383 balls.
