Team India had an injury scare during the 1st Test vs England as Ravindra Jadeja walked back clutching his hamstring after being run out while attempting a risky single.
According to reports, the all-rounder might miss the 2nd Test in Visakhapatnam due to the hamstring issue. He was caught well short of the crease by Ben Stokes’ direct hit.
India head coach Rahul Dravid did not reveal too much about Jadeja's injury but said that they will keep a check on the all-rounder as the 2nd Test is set to start on February 2.
“We'll see. I honestly haven't had a chance to speak to the physio as yet. Once I get back, I'll speak to him and see what it is about,” he said.
India might have lost the 1st test in Hyderabad but Jadeja stood out with both bat and the ball. Apart from a gritty 87 in the 1st innings, he took 3 and 2 wickets in the two innings respectively.
