After India vs Australia 4th Test ended in a draw in Ahmedabad, skipper Rohit Sharma told the reporters that the team was following the New Zealand v Sri Lanka Test, which confirmed India's place in the World Test Championship final.
'We were keeping a track of what is happening there. And it's, you know, general talk in the dressing room, that happens, that this team is behind, this team is ahead and things like that. It's not like we were sitting in front of the television and watching it,' said Rohit.
He also talked about facing Australia in the World Test Championship final in London in June.
'Speaking of playing them in the finals, it's going to be a different ball game. You know, again, a neutral venue for both the teams. Both the teams have played a lot of cricket in that part of the world. So I wouldn't say it's going to be alien conditions for both teams. But yes, compared to what it is like playing in India for India or playing for Australia in Australia, it's not going to be like that. It's going to be slightly different from that, which I'm pretty sure both teams will prepare for it. You know, whatever time we get after IPL, we will try and find some time and get ready for that.' added Rohit.
