Pakistan star bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is set to be available for the heavyweight tie against arch-rivals India in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup according to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Ramiz Raja.
The 22-year-old pacer had suffered a knee injury in the Test series against Sri Lanka before the Asia Cup and recently went through rehabilitation in London as well. Many analysts and former cricketers have advised the bowler to skip the T20 World Cup and not rush into playing at the moment if he is not fully fit.
However, Ramiz Raja has said that Afridi feels "110 percent fit for the T20 World Cup".
"The doctors had sent the video and he is currently 90 percent fit. But he said that he will be fit in time and ready for battle" Ramiz Raja said in his interview.
Pakistan will be facing India in the ICC T20 World Cup on October 23.
