Shane Warne's final journey home begins, body set to arrive in Australia soon

The body of Australian legend Shane Warne began its final journey home on Thursday.

Warne's coffin was covered in the Australian flag and was taken to the international airport, where a private plane is expected to bring him back to Australia.

Earlier, Thailand police informed that Warne's autopsy report showed that he died due to a natural cause. Warne died on March 4 while on vacation at the Thai Island of Samui.

The sudden demise of the Australian great has shocked everyone in the cricketing world. While fans have been paying tribute at Warne's statue outside the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) Stadium.

Meanwhile, according to Australian media reports, MCG will organise a memorial service at Warne's home ground within 2-3 weeks after his last rites. Also, the Great Southern Stand of the MCG will be renamed after Warne.
