BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has tested positive for the delta plus variant of Covid-19 and remains in isolation after being discharged from the hospital.
It was earlier reported that Ganguly was discharged after testing negative for the omicron variant of the deadly virus. The hospital confirmed that Ganguly received "Monoclonal Antibody Cocktail" therapy on Monday night itself and is currently "hemodynamically stable". He has mild symptoms and is kept under close watch.
2021 wasn't a great year for Dada as far as his health was concerned. Before this, Ganguly was hospitalized after he complaint of chest pain. It was revealed that he had suffered a heart attack and went underwent angioplasty. He was rushed to the hospital once again after 20 days due to the same reason and two stents were placed in his two arteries.
