New Zealand's Devon Conway said he has fully recovered from a thumb injury and keen to start playing for Black Caps ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup.

Conway suffered the injury in February and forced the left-handed batter to miss the entire season of the just concluded IPL (Indian Premier League).

Conway, however, trained for a few weeks with Chennai Super Kings before being let go to recover fully from his injury.

New Zealand start their World Cup campaign against Afghanistan on the 8th of June followed by a game against hosts West Indies. Papua New Guinea and Uganda are the two other teams in their group.
