After underwhelming performances in the past two T20 World Cups, India has tried to revitalise its T20 team with younger blood. The likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are apparently being sidelined from the shortest format of the game to assess the game of other Indian players. However, former Pakistan cricketer Rashid Latif doesn't seem convinced by the idea.
On his YouTube channel, Latif pointed out, 'you might get a replacement for KL Rahul, but it would not be easy to find a replacement for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli'
He went on to explain that though in the future, Shubhman Gill, Prithvi Shaw and Ishan KIshan might take their place but it will be difficult for them to get India a World Cup since they are similar players with similar experiences playing at the same time.
