Virat Kohli added yet another feather to an already illustrious cap as he became the first batter in the history of the IPL to reach 8000 runs.

Virat achieved the milestone during his 33-run knock against the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2024 Eliminator in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.

He now has 8004 runs from 244 innings. The next on the list is Shikhar Dhawan, who has 1235 runs less than the former RCB skipper.

Kohli has been in sublime form in this season of the IPL and is the highest-run getter having amassed 741 runs at an average of 61.7. His strike rate of almost 155 is also impressive.
