Indian opener KL Rahul who had managed just single runs score in the T20 World Cup 2022, returned to form with a blistering 50 in 32 balls against Bangladesh in their Group 2 game. Just before the game that India won by 5 runs, KL Rahul was seen having an intense conversation with Virat Kohli, who has scored 3 half-centuries in the ongoing tournament.
When asked about the lengthy chat, KL Rahul revealed that he was discussing the changed Australian conditions that have been challenging for the Indian batters. 'We were discussing how the Australian conditions have been a little different this time, we have come here before and played Test cricket and we expected the wicket to play in a certain way, it hasn't happened so far', Rahul said.
'He has been doing really well in the last few games and I was trying to understand his mindset and what he is thinking when he is in the middle', he added.
While the 30-year-old feels that he does not feel that he was out of form, he scored 4, 9 and 9 runs in the 3 matches that India played in the Super 12 before meeting Bangladesh. I was disappointed that I couldn't score in the 3 games, but I didn't feel like my form or my confidence was low, I just did not get runs '
