Everyone in the cricket world is familiar with the greatness of Sachin Tendulkar. With countless number of records to his name, the Master Blaster used to carried Team India by himself on many occasions.
And now former Pakistani captain Wasim Akram has revealed how Pakistan only used to focus on getting Sachin Tendulkar out during their games against arch-rivals India.
In a conversation with Star Sports, Akram said “Our team meeting used to last for 10 minutes, out of which nine minutes were spent on Tendulkar. Just get him out, rest of them will fall apart."
"This mindset changed when players like Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir arrived at the scene. In the early 90s, we used to just focus on Sachin.”
Akram managed to dismiss Sachin Tendulkar on four occassions during his illustrious career, thrice in ODIs and once in a Test match.
