Harry Kane's second half strike proved decisive as Tottenham beat League One side Portsmouth 1-0 in the FA Cup third round at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
In a quiet first half, Tottenham failed to register a shot on target and Portsmouth came closest to an opener when Reeco Hackett-Fairchild's effort on the turn was pushed wide by goalkeeper Forster.
After the break, Antonio Conte's team upped the tempo and Harry Kane fired in from the edge of the box to put his side ahead.
That goal took Kane's tally at Spurs to 265, one behind the club's record scorer Jimmy Greaves.
