Hosts South Africa were shocked by Sri Lanka in the opening game of the Women's T20 World Cup.
The Asian side held their nerve in a last-ball thriller to beat the South Africans by just 3 runs.
Asked to bat first, Sri Lanka posted 129/4 from their 20 overs, with captain Chamari Athapaththu scoring 68 off 50 balls.
And while the South Africans were expected to eclipse the total, they struggled against the Islanders' spin attack.
Inoka Ranaweera, Oshadi Ranasinghe and Sugandika Kumari took 7 wickets between them, with the other two being run-outs as South Africa fell short on 126-9.
