In a gesture that is winning hearts on the internet, Pakistan cricketers spread holiday cheer by presenting the Australian team with Christmas gifts.
In a video posted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Test captain Shaan Masood and support staff can be seen presenting a gift basket to Pat Cummins.
They also distributed sweets to their families, leaving the children delighted with colourful Christmas candy.
'That was just great. Just Merry Christmas gifts and lollipops for the kids. So that was great. We’ve got a good relationship with the Pakistan side. That tour a couple of years ago was really special as well. So really kind and thoughtful of their group to think of us,” captain Pat Cummins told ESPN Australia.
Australia beat Pakistan in the 1st Test and lead the 3-match series 1-0. The Boxing Day Test begins at the MCG on December 26.
