Ravichandran Ashwin might not have dismissed Ben Stokes in the 1st innings but the off-spinner reminded the world that the English skipper was his bunny by getting the better of Stokes in the 2nd innings of India vs England 1st Test.
Ashwin left Stokes clueless as he cleaned him up for just 6 on Saturday. It was actually the 12th time he dismissed the southpaw from England in Test cricket. It's the most times Ash has got a batter out in whites, with David Warner being the 2nd on the list.
Interestingly, Ashwin has bowled 624 deliveries to Stokes in Tests and the English batter has managed to score just 232 runs at a below-par average of 19.3.
His dismissal was crucial considering the fact that Stokes was England's highest run-scorer in the 1st innings. His wicket reduced the visitors to 163/5.
