Steve Smith was the centre of attraction on day 4 of Sussex’s draw against Leicestershire, not because of the bat but due to a super catch in the County Championship.
The former Australia skipper took a stunning one-handed catch at second slip to remove Rehan Ahmed for 9 in the second innings.
Smith has signed for Sussex to play 3 matches in order to prepare for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against India, followed by the Ashes series.
However, his form with the bat is a little concerning as Smith was out for a 14-ball-3 in his only knock against Leicestershire.
