An all round show by England helped them cruise past South Africa with ease in the 1st quarterfinal of the ICC Under 19 World Cup in the West Indies. Batting first, the South Africans were led by the brilliant Dewald Bewis who smashed 97 and narrowly missed a ton by 3 runs but despite that the junior South African team managed to score just 209 runs.

Reham Ahmed was the pick of the English bowlers as his figures of 4 wickets for 48 runs derailed the South African innings. Chasing 210, England were always in control as they were guided by Jacob Bethell who smashed 88 off 42 balls as they won by 6 wickets to seal a semis berth at the ICC Under 19 World Cup.
