The Pakistan colts started their ICC Under-19 World Cup campaign on a high note as they thrashed Zimbabwe by 115 runs in a Group C encounter.
Opener Haseebullah Hameed smashed 135 runs in 155 balls as Pakistan piled up 315 runs in 50 Overs. For Zimbabwe, medium-pacer Alex Falao was the most successful bowler with 5 for 58.
Chasing mammoth 316 runs, Zimbabwe got off to a steady start but kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Brian Bennett was the only bright spot for the African nation, with 83 off 88 balls ss they were bowled out for 200 runs inside 43 Overs. Awais Ali was the pick of the bowler for Pakistan as he took six wickets.
