After losing their ICC Under-19 World Cup opener, hosts West Indies brought their campaign back on track as they thrashed Scotland by 7 wickets in a Group D encounter.
Putting Scotland to bat first, West Indies bundled out Scotland for a mere 95 runs. Pacer Siva Sankar was the pick of the bowlers as he claimed three wickets and the rest of the West Indian bowlers chipped in with crucial contributions as well.
In reply, West Indies openers went hammer and tongs and got the hosts off to a flying start. The Windies' top order scored at a brisk pace and got the job done in the 20th over with seven wickets in hand.
