Hosts South Africa sealed their first-ever World cup final appearance after beating England by 6 runs in the 2nd semifinal in Cape Town.
Opting to bat first, South African openers Laura Wolvaardt and Tazmin Brits once again came to the party for the home side. The duo registered fifties for the second game in a row to help the hosts post 164 on the board.
England looked well within reach of a victory until the 16th over but 4 wickets in 2 overs derailed their run-chase, giving South Africa their maiden final berth in the World Cup.
They will now face 5-time Champions Australia in the summit clash on Sunday.
