The Indian U-19 Women's team reached the final of the World Cup with a comfortable 8-wicket victory against New Zealand.
Shafali Verma's side had the perfect outing as they restricted New Zealand to just 107/9 in the first innings. Parshavi Chopra was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/20.
In reply, India lost their captain Shefali Verma early but her opening partner, Shweta Sehrawat, notched up her 3rd fifty of the tournament. Sehrawat's unbeaten 45-ball 61 saw India chase the target down with 34 balls to spare.
