Ahead of their first match against Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Giants have embroiled themselves in a big controversy.
According to the franchise, West Indies batter Deandra Dottin was ruled out of the tournament due to a medical situation. The Giants had even named Australia's Kim Garth as Dottin's replacement.
But fans and cricket lovers were in for a shock when Dottin took to social media to quash all rumours about her injury.
With fans sending out 'Get well soon' messages to the 31-year-old, Dottin stated that she is recovering from nothing and that she's absolutely fine.
Dottin's response sent social media into a tizzy, with many still wondering what really has transpired between the two parties.
