India lost their third position to Pakistan in the ICC World Test Championships standings after being penalised for slow-over rate and docked two points by the ICC after a 7-wicket defeat in the fifth Test at Edgbaston on Tuesday.

Apart from this, India have also been fined 40% of their match fee for the offence.

India were placed 3rd before the rescheduled 5th Test against England but are now placed 4th on the WTC standings with 75 points (point percentage of 52.08). Australia and South Africa are placed first & second respectively.

Having lost the Test against England, India now have lost 4 matches, won 6 and drawn 2 in this cycle of WTC.
