Yuvraj Singh and his wife Hazel Keech have welcomed a baby boy into their family.
On Thursday, the former cricketer revealed the news on Twitter.
Using social media to express his gratitude to God, India's legendary batter also sent a little statement for his supporters, family, and friends. "We are overjoyed to share with all of our fans, family, and friends that God has blessed us with a baby boy today. We appreciate God for this gift and ask that you respect our privacy as we welcome the new addition to our family ", wrote the 2011 ODI World Cup winner on Twitter.
Yuvraj’s father, former cricketer and actor Yograj Singh also commented on his post. He referred to his grandson as ‘champ’, which made Yuvraj write back, “Hello grandad! Sidha nets vich lejaye (Straight to net practice).” Yograj replied saying that the ‘legacy must go on’.
Fans and members of the cricket fraternity reacted to Yuvraj's announcement and congratulated the couple.
India's former all-rounder Irfan Pathan wrote on Twitter, "Many congratulations brother. I'm sure you will be an amazing father. Lots of love to the little one. Regards to bhabhi."
