Deepak Chahar ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022 due to a back injury: Deepak Chahar's battle with injuries seem never-ending as according to reports, the all-rounder has been ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022 due to a back injury.

The report further stated that Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur will fly out to Australia as reserves. The team management wants to take a call on Jasprit Bumrah’s replacement after assessing the pacers' performances but Shami remains the clear front runner.

Chahar was part of India's ODI side which took on South Africa in the home series but didn't play any of the games. India is currently playing its warm-up games and will open its T20 World Cup campaign on October 23 against arch-rivals Pakistan.
