Despite Premier League returning on September 16, three games including Chelsea vs Liverpool, Manchester United vs Leeds United and Brighton vs Crystal Palace have been postponed.
All these 3 games were scheduled for this weekend but since Queen Elizabeth will be honoured with a state funeral on September 19, Monday, the decision was taken to postpone the games.
'For the matches being played during the period of National Mourning, tributes will be paid to The Queen at the stadiums,' Premier League said in a statement.
New dates for the rearranged fixtures will be announced in due course, the league added.
