English Premier League club Arsenal are investigating 2 'disturbing' incidents of antisemitism after their recent clash at Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
While as per the EPL table leaders, one of the incidents took place during the game, the other happened at the public house in Islington.
The club in a statement revealed that a fan overheard another Arsenal fan hurling antisemitic statements and on the same afternoon, another incident at the Cally Pub came to light where anti-semitic chants were heard.
Condemning the action, Arsenal further said, 'We recognise the impact this behaviour might have on our Jewish supporters and others and condemn the use of the language of this nature which has no place in our game or in society'
Arsenal's 2-0 win over Tottenham was also marred by a fan assaulting Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. The accused, Joseph Watts was later charged with 'assault by beating' and is due to appear at Highbury Magistrates' Court in London
