Charges including attempted rape and assault against Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood were discontinued by the Crown Prosecution Service on Thursday.
Greater Manchester Police stated that the charges against 21-year-old Greenwood were dropped on February 2 and they decided not to give any further detail.
The Bradford-born player made his debut for the Red Devils in a Champions League victory away to Paris St Germain in March 2019.
However, Greenwood has been suspended by United since news of his arrest in January last year was confirmed.
