Brazilian star Roberto Firmino will leave Liverpool when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Firmino, who won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and Club World Cup during his time with the Reds, will leave after 8 years at Anfield.

The 31-year-old had joined the Merseyside club from Hoffenheim in a £29m deal in 2015. Firmino has made 26 appearances this term, scoring 9 goals for the Reds.

According to manager Jurgen Klopp, there were discussions to keep him at the club, but the player wanted to move on.
