Manchester United ended their 6-year wait for a trophy with a 2-0 victory against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final.
The Red Devils, who were chasing their first piece of silverware since 2017, won through two first-half goals in the span of 6 minutes.
It was Casemiro who broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute, with his header from a Luke Shaw freekick beating Loris Karius in goal.
Six minutes later, a Marcus Rashford shot doubled United's lead after taking a huge deflection off defender Sven Botman.
And while Newcastle attempted to get back into the match in the second half, resolute defending saw the Red Devils emerge unscathed.
