In a nail-biting match, Liverpool defeated Villarreal 3-2 in second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday to book their place in the final. The Reds beat the Yellow Submarine 5-2 on aggregate.

The first half was dominated by Villarreal as Boulaye Dia and Francis Coquelin scored their debut goals to give Yellow Submarine a comfortable lead but the half-time introduction of Luiz Diaz turned the game on its head. While Fabino scored the first goal for the team in the 62nd mins, Luiz Diaz scored in the 67th minute and Sadio Mane's 74th mins goal gave the Jurgen Klopp led side the win.
This is Liverpool's tenth Champions League final and third final in last five seasons, and will play against either Manchester City or Real Madrid in Paris on 28 May.
