Belgian footballer Romelu Lukaku has rejoined Inter Milan on a season-long loan from English club Chelsea.
Lukaku returns to San Siro just 11 months after he left for Chelsea for a club-record fee of £97.5 million. He scored 64 goals in 95 games for the Nerazzurri during his time in Milan, helping them win the Serie A title in 2020-21.
The striker though didn't enjoy a good year at the London club last season, having netted just 8 times in 26 Premier League appearances.
Inter will pay Chelsea a loan fee of £6.9m plus potential performance bonuses if they win the Italian title. Lukaku has also taken a pay cut to reunite with his old club.
With Lukaku leaving, Chelsea are keen to sign Raheem Sterling from Manchester City while other attacking players in Raphinha, Richarlison & Ousmane Dembele are also on their radar.
