Cristiano Ronaldo is set to compete at a record sixth European Championship after being named in Robert Martinez's 26-man Portugal squad on Tuesday for Euro 2024 in Germany.
Captain Ronaldo's first Euros appearance came back in 2004 when the then 19-year-old scored twice as hosts Portugal went all the way to the final, only to lose 1-0 to Greece.
Manchester City duo Bernardo Silva and Ruben Dias were also included in Martinez's squad, alongside Bruno Fernandes of local rivals Manchester United.
Portugal's first match in Group F at Euro 2024 will be against the Czech Republic in Leipzig on 18th June before they face Turkey and then Georgia.
