New Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has played down reports of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving the Premier League club and claimed that 'he is not for sale'.

Speaking to the media on Monday in Bangkok ahead of their pre-season clash against Liverpool on Tuesday, Ten Hag cut a defiant tone and said he had "a real good talk" with Ronaldo.

Ronaldo's absence from the Asia tour fuelled speculation over his future after he also missed the club's return to pre-season training at Carrington.
