Cristiano Ronaldo will become the most-capped player in the history of any national team in the world if he plays against Liechtenstein on Thursday.
CR7, who currently has 196 appearances for Portugal, is currently tied for the top spot with Kuwait’s Bader Al-Mutawa, who last played on June 14, 2022.
With Ronaldo already declaring that he wants to play through to Euro 2024, he will most likely go past the 200 international games landmark this summer.
