Marcus Rashford continued to build on his scoring streak as Manchester United thumped Nottingham Forest 3-0 comfortably in the Carabao Cup semifinal in the first leg at The City Ground.
Rashford with his brilliant effort provided the Red Devils a lead in the 6th minute itself which was later doubled by Wout Weghorst just before the half time. The 25-year-old English player has now scored 10 goals in 10 games since the World Cup.
Bruno Fernandes too found the net in the 89th minute of the game to give Erik Ten Hag's men an upper hand going into the 2nd leg which will be held on next Wednesday at Old Trafford.
