The entire board of Italian football club Juventus have resigned including president Andrea Agnelli amidst financial investigations in the club.
Juventus confirmed in November 2021 that they were assisting the police with an investigation into the club's transfers.
A statement confirmed the board stepping down "having considered the centrality and relevance of pending legal and accounting issues."
Vice-president Pavel Nedved has also decided to step down, with the former Juventus midfielder together with Agnelli among those under investigation.
The club also confirmed on Tuesday that Turin-born Ferrero will replace former president Agnelli at the helm.
