A stoppage-time goal by Casemiro saw Manchester United restrict Chelsea 1-1 in an enthralling game at Stamford Bridge. The Cristiano Ronaldo-less Red Devils though had a dominating first half but lost their grip in the 2nd. Jorginho's late penalty in the 87th minute gave Chelsea the lead, however, Casemiro who scored his first goal for United since joining in the summer equalled in the 4th minute of the added time, thereby ensuring Erik Ten Hag's side remained at the 5th spot in EPL table.

At the City ground, Nottingham Forest produced a scintillating performance against Liverpool to lift themselves from the bottom of the EPL table. A goal from ex-Liverpool player Taiwo Awoniyi in the 55th minute was enough to stun Jurgen Klopp's men. The loss though did not affect Liverpool's place in the table as they continue to stay in 7th position.

An unstoppable Erling Haaland continued his good run as he scored a brace in Manchester City's captivating 3-1 win over Brighton. Kevin de Bruyne also found the net in City's 10th straight win. While the Norweigan footballer scored his 17th goal in the 11th league game this season, he became the 2nd Manchester City player after Sergio Aguero in 2018 to score in 7 home games in a row. Pep Guardiola's team remain 2nd in the points table.

After losing 3 games consecutively, Everton returned to winning ways as Frank Lampard's men thumped Crystal Palace 3-0. Dominic, Anthony Gordon, and Dwight McNeil scored a goal each to help the Toffees reach the 11 spot in the EPL table.
