FA Cup: Phil Foden's brace takes Manchester City to quarterfinals; Brighton, Fulham win

Phil Foden stole the limelight as low key Manchester City brushed aside a courageous Bristol City 3-0 to make it to the quarterfinals of the FA Cup at Ashton Gate in Bristol. 

The 22-year-old English footballer who was overlooked owing to his previous performances found the net twice in the 7th and 74th minute for Pep Guardiola's men. Kevin de Bruyne scored with a long-range strike to make it a 3-0 for the visitors. 

This is the first defeat of the year for the Robins who had remained unbeaten for as many as 12 games. 

Meanwhile, Blackburn Rovers beat Leicester City 2-1, Brighton got the better of Stoke City 1-0 and Fulham defeated Leeds United 2-0.
