World no. 2 Belgium registered a narrow 1-0 win against Canada in the Group F game of the FIFA World Cup 2022 at the Ahmad bin Ali stadium.
Michy Batshuayi who led the Belgian attack from the front struck in the 44th minute that eventually proved sufficient to edge out John Herdman's team.
Before the Belgian team made it to the 1-0 mark, Thibaut Courtois in the 11th minute saved Alphonso Davies' penalty.
