2021 Euro semi-finalists Denmark were held to a goalless draw by Tunisia in their Group D opening encounter of the FIFA World Cup 2022 at the Education City Stadium in Qatar on Tuesday.
The Danish side featuring Christian Eriksen started off pretty slowly in the first half and it was Tunisia who surprisingly looked closer to breaking the deadlock in the game. However, Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel made sure his side would not go down in the first half of the game.
Both teams started the second half with energy but failed to convert their chances in the game. Neither of the two sides deserved to end their game with a defeat and the final score was a fair reflection of how the game panned out in the end.
