One of the biggest upsets in the ongoing FIFA World Cup was when 2018 runner-up Croatia chucked 5-time world champions Brazil out of the marquee tournament.
Brazil’s star footballer Neymar was heartbroken and burst into tears as his team went down against Luca Modric’s team in the penalty shootout. The 30-year-old who looked inconsolable after the disappointing loss later said that he was unsure about playing at the next World Cup.
Neymar who scored the goal in Selecao’s lost cause said, ‘I don’t know, I think talking now is bad because of the heat of the moment, maybe I am not thinking straight, I want to take this time to think about it think about what I want for myself, I will not close the door to playing with Brazil nor do I say 100% that I’ll come back.’

Brazil entered this year’s competition as hot favourites but continued on their ill fate with a 4-2 loss in the penalty shootout in their quarterfinal game. The team hasn't made it to the last four since hosting the tournament eight years ago, when the Selecao were embarrassed by Germany 7-1
