Kerala might be miles away from Qatar where the football's biggest gala, the FIFA World Cup 2022 is being hosted but Keralites like always did not miss their chance of showing the world their love for the game.
The fans erected huge cut-outs of players and flags of participating nations in the World Cup all around the city in a show of love for teams and players. Huge cut-outs of Argentina's Lionel Messi, Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, and Brazil's Neymar were put on display across Malappuram, a small town in Kerala. Fans also erupted on the streets of the town to celebrate the spirit of the quadrennial tournament.
The FIFA World Cup which is being hosted by Qatar begins on November 20 and will last till December 18.
